Merino wool blend direction
Sixteen percent Merino wool differentiates the blend for natural comfort and temperature- or moisture-management development; specific claims require testing.
Merino wool supports a natural-fiber development direction, but thermal regulation, odor control, moisture management, shrinkage and wash-care performance are not claimed without testing. Stretch and C0 WR values also require verification on the approved fabric.
Softshell Fabric · YA1570
A 205 GSM nylon, Merino wool and spandex performance fabric with a Peach Dull face and integrated stripe-fleece reverse. Developed for technical midlayers, lightweight outdoor jackets, hiking tops and movement-focused apparel.
For an accurate recommendation, include your garment type, target market, required finish and estimated quantity.
Product overview
YA1570 combines 74% nylon, 16% Merino wool and 10% spandex. The nylon-rich blend provides a technical material base, Merino wool introduces a natural-fiber direction, and spandex supports movement-focused development. Its Peach Dull face is lightly brushed and dulled for a fine, soft and non-glossy appearance.
The reverse uses continuous raised stripe-fleece channels formed as part of the fabric rather than a separately laminated backing. At 205 GSM and 52 inches usable width, YA1570 is suited to technical midlayers, lightweight jackets, hiking and trekking zip tops, cycling apparel, travel wear and performance uniforms, subject to garment-level testing and care requirements.

Core performance
Construction-based characteristics, not laboratory pass claims. Numerical targets can be agreed and tested during development.
Sixteen percent Merino wool differentiates the blend for natural comfort and temperature- or moisture-management development; specific claims require testing.
Longitudinal raised channels are formed as part of the fabric to create a distinctive texture and inner-surface identity.
Ten percent spandex supports movement-oriented garment development. Stretch direction, elongation, recovery and fatigue resistance should be verified.
The supplied specification identifies a soft non-glossy face and fluorine-free water-repellent route; finish durability requires testing.
Recommended applications
Application images clarify the intended use while keeping the supplied fabric specification central.

For zip tops and active layers combining a natural-fiber direction with stretch and a channel-textured reverse.
For movement-focused garments developed around the 205 GSM structure, 10% spandex content and intended care method.
For lightweight jackets requiring a refined matte face and a differentiated integrated fleece construction.
Garment images are application visualizations. Final appearance depends on fabric development, pattern and approved color.
Supplied references
These supplied images support development discussions and are identified separately where color or finishing may differ from the navy reference sample.

Confirm test method, target and care condition before bulk production. The visual illustrates possible inspection and testing routes, not certified results.

Bulk inspection can check Peach Dull appearance, stripe consistency, width, weight and agreed tolerances against the approved sample.
Custom development
Share the intended garment, market and performance target so the construction and finishing route can be evaluated before sampling.
Feasibility, tolerances and production terms are confirmed after specification review.

Testing & reports
We can discuss the appropriate method, submit the developed sample for third-party testing, and provide the resulting report.

Important: No numerical test result is claimed here. Test standards, targets and reporting arrangements are confirmed for each project.
